Beyoncé and Blue Ivy Slayed their VMA Entrance

The 34-year-old singer's four-year-old daughter made her first ever appearance on a red carpet over the weekend when she accompanied her mother into the glamorous ceremony in Madison Square Garden in NY.

Beyonce also made her fans' night by bringing along daughter Blue Ivy to this year's MTV VMAs, with the mother/daughter duo going matchy matchy in similar shimmering metallic, tulle and feather frocks.

The diva's red carpet entourage included Blue Ivy, who wore a matching angel outfit complete with an angel's halo, and a procession of models last seen in Lemonade's "Freedom" music video.

To Brit's credit, she did fine!

Music fans around the world turned their attention to NY last night as rock, pop and rap stars met for the 2016 MTV Music Video Awards.

In one photo, Beyonce posed in her couture Maison Francesco Scognamiglio gown, giving a serious expression while Blue (in all her ethereal finery) gave a fierce look of her own. Blue danced around with other children in Beyonce's much-talked-about "Formation" footage, while wearing a lacy white dress.

When Beyoncé came to MTV's Video Music Awards on Sunday night, she came to slay.

On her worst day - let's say, bedridden with a nasty case of pinkeye - Beyoncé is a tough act to follow.

The ending of the performance was equally spectacular with "Formation" as the closing song.

Beyonce later returned solo to the red carpet.

Let's be honest: Everything else that happened at the VMAs before Beyonce took the stage was just a warmup to her heart-stopping performance.
