OKC Fans Just Trolled The Hell Out Of Kevin Durant

The reasoning is, of course, that Durant (the player) left the Oklahoma City Thunder as a free agent this summer to join the Golden State Warriors while the team's other star, Russell Westbrook, ended up signing a three-year contract extension to remain with the Thunder.
Donovan said he wasn't surprised Durant walked because he was never really sure he was going to stay. Ryan Nazari of Edmond, Oklahoma created a Change.org petition asking for 1,000 online signatures to try to get the city of Durant, Oklahoma, changed to Westbrook, Oklahoma, in honor of guard? Perhaps the town of Durant will change its name for just that one day.
Furthermore, reports claimed that the OKC Thunder might trade Westbrook if he is unable to pull the team into the playoffs appropriately.
Just in case you thought Oklahoma City Thunder fans were over Kevin Durant leaving the team this offseason to sign with the Golden State Warriors, think again.
Durant, Oklahoma is actually named after Dixon Durant, a minister, businessman and civic leader. I can't even look at our lovely state map without being reminded of what he did to us.

Durant and Westbrook both wanted desperately to win, and Donovan said that their arguments were simply the result of two highly motivated superstars who wanted more than anything to win.
