Lesnar Altercation, What Was Not Planned About the Lesnar/Orton Finish

McGregor is set for his rematch with Nate Diaz tonight at UFC 202, and WWE's SummerSlam is tomorrow. The site reports that the WWE just considered Chris Jericho's actions to be "boys being boys" and there is no heat on him or Brock, who flew home on Monday.

"I take sh*ts bigger than that kid", Lesnar said when asked if he'd take on McGregor in the WWE ring.

As a pool of blood formed in the ring, referees and ringside doctors attended to Orton and tried to keep The Beast at bay while he continued to attack Orton despite their pleas.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has been making a bit of noise in the media this week with regard to the Mixed Martial Arts promotion. Even Randy Orton getting busted open the hard way was planned but the WWE did not expect to see him bled like that. Once he got the title, he would only end up defending one time before he lost it to a cash in by Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania 31. He just finished headlining SummerSlam and he thinks someone is mocking his match by calling it bullsh*t. As it is, everyone was talking about what Brock did the next day. Those looking for a few good tag team matchups can enjoy Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens as well as a six-woman tag team match between Carmell, Becky Lynch, Naomi, Natalya, and Alexa Bliss. No one answered his questions because they were working on the product. Jericho shouted about Lesnar, and Vince assured him that the finish was all according to plan.

According to Meltzer, Triple H feels that Lesnar started the fight and that Jericho was standing up for himself. Jericho was then yelling about Lesnar and Vince told him that everything was a work, and to be professional.

According to reports, Orton eventually told Jericho that he knew about everything that was going to happen at SummerSlam in advance.
